My Photographic Philosophy

Not too long ago, life was easy... not a care in the world other than wondering what color I was going to paint my fingernails. Now, being a full time mother and wife, I understand first hand how time indeed does fly by, and how quickly the world turns. Thankfully, these memories are safely tucked away in the deepest pocket of my heart. They, too, are also tucked away in a special pretty pink and floral box ,hidden in the deepest part of my hall closet.  This reminds me of Pandora's Box - full of grandest of grand treasures.  From time to time, I go and take a little peek into my treasure box, and instantaneously, I'm taken back to that specific moment in time - My daughter's sweet smile in her angelic slumber, my hubby's loud goofy laugh, my daughter's first attempt at toddling, our first wedding anniversary, the way he kisses me, and the love. Mmm...The love.  My heart is warm, and my soul smiles.  Perfectly imperfect moments... this is what dream are made of.  This is why God has given us the amazing gift of photographic art; to cherish these moments that capture our heart and captivate our soul.

I wear my heart on my sleeve... some say this is not so bright, but I believe it gives me the advatage while photographing.  I'm moved and inspired by the naturality and personality of this big green earth. It sends me on a rollercoaster of emotions each and every single time I pick up my camera. When your session is complete, after my camera is tucked away, and it is just me, my computer, and your images, I take a second ride on that rollercoaster, but this time it is different...  I am no longer a photographer, but instead the reader of thoughts and movement.   The joy in your heart radiates to mine, and I feel nothing short of blessed.

When we meet, show up with the dreams of your heart and the joy of your soul, I can't wait to meet 'em.
